Indeed, I have often used Understanding Physics as a quick-and-dirty reference on key physics equations. Not only did I understand every word Mr. Lists with This Book. Suffice to say, might I be using my time well, reading this work?

Together with titles like The Human BodyLife and Energy and The Universethey are a thorough, definitive introduction to the topic at hand and definitely not books to do without. Even though it’s written for the layman, it still a bit heavy for the average reader. This was the first physics book that I read and I greatly enjoyed it. Want to Read saving….
