Trivia About My Feudal Lord. Tehmina Durrani’s story provided extraordinary insights into the vulnerable position of women caught in the complex web of Muslim society. Having said that, the way she wrote and the flow of the story were all nicely formulated. To make it clear, such exploitations take place in ALL cultures, and all religions – not just in Islam.

Mar 01, Shalini rated it really liked it. I salute her for stepping out amidst the hypocrisy and negativity surrounding her. Leaving the story for a bit, the writing style is not engaging. After three futile divorce attempts, she succeeded the fourth time. Durrani at an event in Still, if only drurani her horrible experiences, I was inclined towards giving this book a 3-star rating. The protagonist herself creates a bait for her survival but that ends up as a noose for her.
Unlike many readers, I don’t feel the story was totally fabricated but there sure was everything going wrong for the characters, who were weaker and helpless – which makes it a gloomy read.
And if she left him for khar then why after leaving Mustafa, she has married another eminent politician Shahbaz Sharif? She claimed that it is a true story in the face of a novel, which a reader will agree to a great extent. Khar had been married five times.
